Medical Event Start and End Times
End users can populate a Medical Event's start and end times to better display this information in several My Schedule calendar views. This enables end users to quickly see the time frame for an upcoming Medical Event.

Configuring Start and End Times on Medical Events for

To enable this feature for end users:

Ensure the following features are configured:
- Navigate to Admin > Users & Groups > Permission Sets.
- Select the appropriate permission set.
- Select the Objects tab.

Grant the following permissions:
Object Object Permission Object Types Fields Field Permission medical_event__v Create, Update n/a - start_time__v
- end_time__v
Edit -
Add the following fields to the appropriate medical_event__v page layouts:
- start_time__v
- end_time__v

Remove the following fields from medical_event__v page layouts:
- start_date__v
- end_date__v
The start_time__v and end_time__v fields replace the functionality of these two fields. Populated start_time__v and end_time__v fields are prioritized over populated start_date__v and end_date__v fields.
- Navigate to Business Admin > Objects > veeva_settings__v and edit the Global Veeva Settings record.
- Select the ENABLE_SCHEDULE_MEDICAL_EVENT check box.
Using Start and End Times in Medical Events as

When creating or editing medical_event__v records, end users can populate the start_time__v and end_time__v fields to define when the event starts and ends.
