Medical Event Attendees
Medical Event attendees can consist of either external accounts or other Vault CRM users. Attendees of Medical Events are stored as event_attendee__v records, enabling end users to document which individuals attended their event, which may be necessary for reporting or compliance reasons.
Additionally, users can view the Event Attendees related list on several objects to view which medical events an account was invited to.

Configuring Medical Event Attendees for
To configure this feature, ensure Configuring Medical Events is complete.
Adding Attendees to Medical Events as
To add an attendee to a medical event:
- Navigate to the appropriate medical_event__v record.
- Select Add Attendee from the More Actions menu.
To add yourself as an attendee, select Add My Attendance.
- Search for and select the appropriate attendee(s) to add. Account__v records display as available for selection.
Attendees can be added from business accounts. Select the Org Chart icon, then select the appropriate attendees.
- Select Add Selected.
After selecting the appropriate attendee(s), an event_attendee__v record is created representing that account or user's attendance of the event. Any fields on the medical_event__v record that have a matching name to a field on the event_attendee__v object are copied to the newly created event_attendee__v record, for example, the start_date__v field.
To add an attendee to a medical event:
- Navigate to the appropriate medical_event__v record.
- Select Manage Attendees from the More Actions menu.
To add yourself as an attendee, select Add My Attendance.
- Search for and select the appropriate attendee(s) to add. Account__v records display as available for selection.
Business accounts can be added as attendees as well, enabling tracking event attendance from a business without tracking against a person account
- Select Add Selected.
- Select Done.
After selecting the appropriate attendee(s), an event_attendee__v record is created representing that account or user's attendance of the event. Any fields on the medical_event__v record that have a matching name to a field on the event_attendee__v object are copied to the newly created event_attendee__v record, for example, the start_date__v field.
