Allowing Multiple Product Inquiries

The default Medical Inquiry module allows users to capture a single inquiry at a time. However, it is possible to capture multiple Medical Inquiries at once, even if they are for different products. There is a single UI for entering all inquiries from an HCP, and the HCP will see all captured inquiries on a single Signature screen.

  • Browser, iPad, iPhone, Windows Users
  • Users do not require an additional license
  • End Users

Configuring Multiple Product Inquiries for

To configure this feature: 

  1. Navigate to Admin > Users & Groups > Permission Sets.
  2. Select the appropriate permission set.
  3. Select Objects
  4. Grant Edit permission to the group_identifier__v field on the medical_inquiry__v object.
  5. Select Configuration> Objects.
  6. Select medical_inquiry__v > Layouts.
  7. Select the appropriate layout.
  8. Place the delivery_method_section__c section control on the layout.
  9. Select the Multiple Product Inquiries check box.
  10. Select the fields that should be unique to each medical inquiry when creating multiple product inquiries.
  11. Select Done.

Using Multiple Product Inquiries as

End users can add multiple product inquiries. A new Medical Inquiry record is created for each sibling Medical Inquiry. These records are linked together using the group_identifier__v field.

In the following screenshot, the user is creating two Medical Inquiries—one for Cholecap and one for Labrinone.
