Multi-Product CLM Presentations
Content creator users can assign multiple detail products and groups to Presentation Binders and Slide Documents, allowing end users to detail multiple products using a single slide. This protects end user media libraries from overcrowding and makes it easier for content creator users to manage and maintain content in Vault CRM.

Assigning Multiple Products to CLM Presentations as
When creating or updating content directly in Vault CRM, content creators can assign different products to a Presentation binder and each of its Slide documents by populating the Detail Product, Detail Group, and Product Group fields. All three fields must be populated when using multiple detail products and details groups in order to identify the correct detail product/group pairs, in addition to allowing end users to properly filter and search their media libraries. See Creating CLM Content as Documents for more information.
When managing content in PromoMats/MedComms, content creators can add multiple CRM Products and CRM Product Groups can be added to a presentation via the corresponding picklists on the appropriate documents in PromoMats/MedComms. To assign values to Multichannel Presentations (binders) and Multichannel Slides in PromoMats/MedComms:
- Navigate to the appropriate Multichannel Presentation record.
- Select Edit.
- Populate the appropriate picklists:
- crm_product__v - Represents a CRM Product. When only using detail products, only populate this field.
- crm_product_group__v – Represents a pairing of a CRM Product and a CRM Detail Group. When using detail groups, only populate this field.
- Select Save.
- Navigate to each related Multichannel Slide record.
- Select Edit.
- Populate the appropriate picklists with the same values selected for the Multichannel Presentation record.
To assign values to documents created via auto-publishing:
- Navigate to the appropriate document record.
When CLM content syncs to Vault CRM via the CLM Integration, the Detail Product, Detail Group, and Product Groups fields in Vault CRM are automatically populated. See Syncing CLM Content from PromoMats/MedComms to Vault CRM for more information on how the fields are populated.

All products on each slide in a presentation are validated against Restricted Products and Allowed Products, regardless of the user’s My Setup Products. If a product fails the validation for an account or call, the presentation cannot be displayed.
When displaying multi-product presentations from a call, the products are tracked on the following fields on the Call Key Message records:
- Products on Slide Document – Stamps the products assigned to the Slide Document
- User Products on Slide Document – Stamps the user’s My Setup Products
Both fields use a semicolon-delimited list of record IDs, but display a comma-delimited list of the product names in the CLM Details section of the call report. When using detail groups, each detail product and detail group is separated by a pipe character. Products are stamped in display order and are not stamped more than once if displayed multiple times.
A Call Detail record is created for each detail product or detail product/detail group combination stamped in the User Products on Slide Document field.
If Tracking CLM Call Clickstream Activity or Tracking CLM Activity as Unassigned Presentations are enabled, a Multichannel Activity Line record is created with the Products on Slide Document and User Products on Slide Document fields stamped accordingly.
