Requiring Signatures on Opt-Out
By default, signatures are required when HCPs provide opt-in consent on mobile devices and paper consent IDs are required online. Customers can also require signatures and paper consent IDs for opt-out consent to ensure HCPs confirm every consent change.

Configuring Required Signatures on Opt-Out for
To configure required signatures on opt-out, ensure Configuring Consent Capture is complete.
Requiring Signatures on Opt-Out as
- Navigate to Business Admin > Objects > Consent Headers.
- Select the consent_header__v record for the appropriate country.
- Set the consent_header_status__v field to Inactive or Staged to allow edits to the record.
- Select Edit on the record again.
- Select the signature_required_on_opt_out__v checkbox.
- Set the consent_header_status__v field to Active or Staged:
- Active — displays consent channels and lines on the Consent Capture screen and prevents further editing
- Staged — hides the consent records from end users while allowing consent admins to review how the Consent Capture screen displays
- Select Save.

Granting Opt-Out Consent with Required Signatures as
After granting opt-out consent, HCP must use the required confirmation methods to confirm they want to opt out of the selected consent types or lines. If neither signature nor Paper Consent ID is marked as required for a consent type:
- On Browser, Paper Consent ID is required
- On mobile platforms, either Paper Consent ID or signature capture is required
