Defining the Display Order of Consent Channels and Lines
Business admins can define the order in which consent channels and lines display on the Consent Capture screen. By default, consent channels and lines display in alphabetical order.
Who can use this feature?
- Browser, iPad, iPhone Users
- Users do not require an additional license
- Business Admin Users, End Users
Configuring Display Order for Consent Channels and Lines for

Ensure Configuring Consent Capture is complete.
Defining Display Order for Consent Types as

To define the display order for a consent type:
- Navigate to Business Admin > Objects > Consent Headers.
- Select the consent_header__v record related to the channel.
- Set the consent_header_status__v field to Inactive or Staged to allow edits to related consent type records.
- Select the appropriate consent_type__v record from the Consent Types dropdown section.
- Select Edit.
- Populate the display_order__v field with the appropriate number. The record with the value of 1 displays first.
- Select Save.
- Navigate back to the consent_header__v record.
- Set the consent_header_status__v field to Active or Staged:
- Active — displays consent channels and lines on the Consent Capture screen and prevents further editing
- Staged — hides the consent records from end users while allowing consent admins to review how the Consent Capture screen displays
Defining Display Order for Consent Lines as

To define the display order for a consent line:
- Navigate to Business Admin > Objects > Consent Headers.
- Select the consent_header__v record related to the channel.
- Set the consent_header_status__v field to Inactive or Staged to allow edits to related consent line records.

Select the appropriate consent_line__v record from the Consent Lines dropdown section.
- Select Edit.

- Navigate back to the consent_header__v record.
- Set the consent_header_status__v field to Active or Staged:
- Active — displays consent channels and lines on the Consent Capture screen and prevents further editing
- Staged — hides the consent records from end users while allowing consent admins to review how the Consent Capture screen displays
Viewing Consent Types and Lines as

When end users navigate to the Consent Capture screen, the consent channels and lines display in the defined order. Channels and lines without order values display alphabetically.
