Territory Designer Overview
Territory Designer is a Microsoft Windows desktop application and a comprehensive territory alignment tool built to meet the unique needs of the Life Sciences industry. Territory Designer users seamlessly manage territories and customer data, change account and postal code assignments, and visualize the changes on a map, showing updates to key territory metrics. These designed alignments can then be exported to Veeva Align, and by extension, Vault CRM, via integration or to flat files.
Vault CRM is not required to use Territory Designer.
Users and Roles
Territory Designer has the following types of users, each with unique roles and responsibilities:
- Field Operations User – Creates and edits alignments in the Territory Designer desktop application
- Business IT User – Imports and exports alignment information
- Reviewer – Reviews ZIP Code alignments and runs reports, or publishes maps of the alignments to Microsoft PowerPoint
