Viewing Activities on the Account Timeline
Users can view the Account Timeline directly from an account to display a chronological history of all activities involving the account. This enables users to view an account's history, including any calls, medical events, or Approved Emails they have received.
Users can choose which activities to display on the Timeline, enabling them to only view relevant activities and view more details about those activities. Additionally, they can navigate to the record representing a Timeline activity, for example, a medical event, directly from the Timeline.

Using the Timeline View as

Viewing the Timeline
To view the Timeline on the iPad, select the Timeline tab on the Account Detail Page.
If Setting the Timeline as the Default View for an Account is enabled, this tab is selected by default.
Users can select which type of activities to display by selecting the Gear button.
To view the Timeline in Vault, select the View Timeline action on the appropriate account__v record.
Users can select which type of activities to display by selecting the Filter button.
Activities in the Timeline display in reverse chronological order with the newest activities displaying first. Up to three months of historical activity and one month of planned activity displays by default. Days in the Timeline display in a descending order while activities display in ascending order.

Available activities can be configured by account object type. For example, the Timeline for an HCP can be configured to display Approved Emails activities while Pharmacies can display orders.
Sent emails only display only if an open or click event is created.
Users can select an activity in the Timeline to expand and display more details. All activities are displayed collapsed by default. Users can display a summary of activities by month and expand the month to display each activity on the Timeline. There is a summary and detail mode for each month. The summary mode displays the count of each activity type occurring during that month.
Account Timeline Activity Details
Users can select an activity on the Timeline to display an expanded view of that activity. Users can navigate to the activity's corresponding record by selecting View More in the expanded view.
