Using Classic Cycle Plans in My Schedule
For integrated planning and execution, end users can view cycle plan targets and metrics from the accounts panel or Scheduler pane in My Schedule. This improves efficiency by presenting relevant information directly in My Schedule, and can help improve attainment by guiding users to schedule calls according to their cycle plan metrics.
For example, the cycle plan metrics on an account card indicate the target account has two remaining calls in the current cycle plan. Schedule the two remaining calls to meet cycle plan goals.

Configuring Cycle Plans in My Schedule for

To configure this feature:
- Ensure the following are complete:
- Configuring Call Planning
- Configuring Classic Cycle Plans
- At least one cycle plan exists for the user’s territory, or the user is the owner of a cycle plan

Navigate to Admin > Users & Groups > Permission Sets.

Select the appropriate permission set.

Select the Objects tab.

Grant Edit field permission to the scheduler_cycle_plan_display__v field on the preferences__v object (optional). This enables retaining the user's most recently selected Cycle Plan view in My Schedule, so the view does not reset when users navigate away from My Schedule.
Cycle plan view preferences from the Browser platform are reflected on the iPad platform after a sync or refresh, but preferences from the iPad platform are not reflected on the Browser platform.
Using Classic Cycle Plans in My Schedule as

To view classic cycle plan information in My Schedule, select the appropriate cycle plan from the Account Views and Lists menu. To display in the list, a cycle plan must be:
- Active - The Active check box is selected on the cycle plan record
- Current - The current date is within the plan’s start and end dates
- Assigned to the user - The plan applies to the user’s territory, or the user is the record owner
Once a plan is selected, the account list is filtered to only include target accounts for the selected cycle plan. Classic cycle plan target metrics (Actual, Planned, Scheduled, Attainment or Remaining, and Remaining Schedule) display beneath the account name.
To schedule a call for a target account, drag the account card to the scheduling grid. If the call is scheduled within the cycle plan start and end dates for the appropriate territory, the call is counted towards the cycle plan.
