Sharing Digital Business Cards from the Home Page
The Share Digital Business Card (DBC) component on the home page allows Vault CRM users to send their DBC to HCPs. HCPs can view the DBC and connect with the Vault CRM user if they are signed into Engage. Vault CRM users must have DBCs enabled, but do not need to have Chat or Ping enabled.

Configuring the Share Digital Business Card Component for

To configure the Share Digital Business Card home page component:
- Ensure Vault CRM Mobile Application Home Page is configured.
- Ensure either Using Digital Business Cards or Using Engage Chat in CRM is configured.
- Ensure Sending Engage Connection Invites to HCPs is configured:
- The Engage profile indicator is not required
- Displaying sent messages on the account timeline is not required
- Navigate to Admin > Users & Groups > Permission Sets.
- Select the appropriate permission set.
- Navigate to Objects > VMobile Home Page Layout.
- Grant View permission to the Share DBC (share_dbc_section__v) control.
- Navigate to Admin > Configuration > Objects > VMobile Home Page Layout (vmobile_home_page_layout__v) > Layouts.
- Place the Share DBC (share_dbc_section__c) section control on the appropriate location of the vmobile_home_page_layout__v layout.
Admins can manage the title of the Share Digital Business Card component using the SHARE_DBC_TILE;;Engage Veeva Message.
Sharing Digital Business Cards from the Home Page as

When end users select Share Digital Business Card from the home page, the sharing options display.
End users can select the appropriate sharing option to send Engage connection invites or select Preview Digital Business Card to ensure their digital business cards display correctly before sending. See Previewing Digital Business Cards as a CRM User for more information.
