The main objects that comprise the feature are:

Fax Template

Fax templates are Microsoft Word™ documents used to define the layout, content, and dynamic tokens for faxes.

Fax Number (fax_number__v)

The fax number used to send faxes.

Consent Records

Consent records store an account's opt-in or opt-out status for receiving communications using the Fax channel.

Sent Fax Records (sent_fax__v)

A Sent Fax record is created for each recipient every time a user sends a fax. This object captures a complete snapshot of the transaction, including the recipient, the template version used, resolved token values, and the final delivery status.

Enterprise Fax Engine

The fax engine processes the field triggered faxes for sending with Vault CRM’s fax provider.

To configure this feature:

1. Navigate to Admin > Users & Groups > Configuration.

2. Select the appropriate Permission Set.

3. Select the Objects tab.

4. Grant the following permissions:

1. Navigate to Admin > Users & Groups > Configuration.

2. Select the appropriate Permission Set.

To configure this feature:

1. Ensure Configuring Consent Capture is complete.

2. Navigate to Admin > Users & Groups > Configuration.

3. Select the appropriate Permission Set.

4. Select the Objects tab.

5. Grant the following permissions:

6. Navigate to Admin > Configuration > Objects > account__v.
7. Grant Execute permission for the Send Fax action on the Account object.
8. Navigate to Admin > Settings > Language and Regional Settings.
9. Select the Enable multilingual document handling checkbox.

10. Navigate to Business Admin > Objects > Veeva Settings > Global Veeva Settings.

11. Set the Sync Configuration Mode to 1 to enable multiple VMobile Object Configurations per object.

12. Navigate to Business Admin > Objects > VMobile Object Configurations.

13. Enable the iPad VMOCs with the following External IDs:

    • documents__v-ipad__v-2
    • documents-ipad__v-3
