Account Deep Linking
To streamline workflows and boost user efficiency, account deep linking enables direct navigation to specific account profiles in Vault CRM from external applications. Instead of manually searching for a Health Care Professional (HCP) in Vault CRM after reviewing their information in an external application, users can access the profile directly, reducing time spent switching between systems for an optimized workflow.

Configuring Account Deep Linking for

To configure this feature, ensure Configuring Accounts is complete.
Using Account Deep Linking as

It is recommended that users have only one Veeva CRM or Vault CRM application installed on their device. Installation of multiple applications can result in Account Deep Links directing users to the wrong application.
To link users to a specific account record, developers for any external application include a link to the account’s Vault CRM custom URL. The URL contains the 15-character Vault CRM account ID. For example:
veeva://Account/V4T000000007246
If a user previously signed in to Vault CRM and then selects an account from the external application, Vault CRM displays the default screen for the account specified in the link. Selecting the Back button in Vault CRM navigates to the last viewed page in Vault CRM, so the user does not lose any previous context.
The default screen for the linked account may be Account Details, Timeline View, or another screen depending on the user's configuration.
If a user selects an account but is not signed in to Vault CRM, the Login screen displays.
If the ID specified in the link does not match an account, Vault CRM displays the last screen the user was viewing. These invalid links are logged in the activity log for debugging.
