Capturing Event Team Member Signatures
End users can track attendance and capture signatures for Event Team Members who attend an event.
This enables accurate and compliant reporting of Transfer of Value, as Event Team Members may incur expenses as part of the event, for example, from event meals.
Event Team Members can sign in using the same methods available to attendees for signing in, including the digital sign-in sheet, QR Codes®, or on a printed sign-in sheet.

Configuring Event Team Member Signatures for

To configure this feature:
- Ensure Configuring Events Management is complete.
- Navigate to Admin > Users & Groups > Permission Sets.
- Select the appropriate permission set.
- Select the Objects tab.

Excluding Certain Event Team Member Roles from Signing In
Admins can also prevent certain Event Team Members from displaying as available for signing in, based on the Event Team Member’s role:
- Navigate to Business Admin > Objects > events_management_settings__v and edit the record.
- Populate the exclude_team_members_from_sign_in__v field with a comma-separated list of values from the role__v picklist on the em_event_team_member__v object to exclude from signing in.

To configure this feature, enable the appropriate sign-in methods:
Enabling Event Team Members to Sign In via the Digital Sign-in Sheet
To enable Event Team Members to sign into an event using their name and signature using the digital sign-in sheet:
- Navigate to Admin > Configuration > Objects > event__v > Layouts.
- Navigate to the Event Team Member related object section of the appropriate layouts.
- Add the signature_datetime__v field as a column of the section.
Additionally, admins can enable Event Team Members to opt into event meals when signing into an event:
- Navigate to Admin > Configuration > Objects > em_event_team_member__v > Layouts.
- Place the meal_opt_in__v field on the appropriate layouts.
Enabling Event Team Members to Sign In via QR Code®
To enable Event Team Members to sign into an event via QR Code®:
- Ensure Signing into an Event using a QR Code® is configured.
- Navigate to Admin > Users & Groups > Permission Sets.
- Select the appropriate Permission Set for the Integration User.
- Select the Objects tab.

Including Event Team Members on Printed Sign-in Sheets as

Content admins can add tokens to document templates that add the list of Event Team Members onto a printable sign-in sheet:
- Edit the appropriate Microsoft Word™ template for the sign-in sheet. See Creating Template Files for more information about creating templates for printed sign-in sheets.
- Insert a token using the format {{em_event_team_member__v.FieldAPIName}} to reference Event Team Member fields.
When a user generates the sign-in sheet from an event, a row is created for each eligible Event Team Member, populated with the appropriate field values.
Reviewing the Sign-in Summary with Event Team Member Signatures as

Event Team Members display alongside Attendees and Event Speakers in the Digital Sign-In Sheet’s Summary screen.
Including Event Team Members in Split Expenses as

Event Team Members that have opted-in for a meal are included in the list of participants who opted into a meal during expense entry. See Creating Split Expenses for more information.
Reviewing Captured Event Team Member Signatures as

Event Organizers can view captured Event Team Member signatures via the View Signatures page.
The View Signatures page displays a list of all captured signatures for attendees, speakers, and Event Team Members. The list includes the participant's name, status, meal opt-in status, the signature image, and a timestamp. The list sorts by signature time by default.
Reviewing QR Code® Sign-in Errors for Event Team Members as

If Enabling Event Team Members to Sign In via QR Code® is configured, business admin users can review and download a log of any sync errors associated with Event Team Members signing into an event with a QR Code®:
- Navigate to Admin > Configuration > Event Registration and Sign-In .
- Navigate to the Inbound Sync & Alert History section.
- Select the Review Details link for the appropriate event. The Review Details modal includes any Event Team Member records that failed to sync from the QR sign-in app.
Business admin users can further review details by downloading the inbound sync log, which includes the EventTeamMembers.csv file if there are any errors related to team members.
Signing in to an Event via the QR Code® as

If Enabling Event Team Members to Sign In via QR Code® is configured, Event Team Members can sign-in to an event using a QR Code® via the same flow as attendees or speakers.
