Managing ISI and PI Links in Messages for CLM Content Web Links
When users share web links for CLM content, links to the associated Important Safety Information (ISI) and Prescribing Information (PI) documents can be included at the bottom of the web link message. This ensures users satisfy compliance regulations requiring ISI and PI documents to be available to HCPs whenever they view promotional content. When recipients select the ISI and PI links, the documents display in the HCP Content Player.
ISI and PI links are supported when sharing CLM content via Engage chat and third-party messaging apps, but not when sharing content via QR Code®®.

Configuring PI Links with Boxed Warnings for

Boxed warnings are required warnings for certain products informing users about the risks associated with each product. PI documents can include boxed warnings, which must be included with the PI link when sharing content with HCPs.
In PromoMats/MedComms, to indicate a PI document contains a boxed warning, content admins must select Yes for the contains_boxed_warning__v field on the PI document. Including ISI and PI Links in Messages for CLM Content Web Links as

End users can share web links for CLM presentations or websites from the media library or from Engage chat. When end users share a web link, ISI and PI links are included when either of the following is true:
- The selected content is an auto-published presentation, a binder and slides presentation, or an approved website. Both isi_document__v and pi_document__v fields are populated on the clm_presentation__v record.
- The selected content is a custom presentation. At least one of the key messages in the presentation has both the isi_document__v and pi_document__v fields populated. The message links to the ISI and PI documents for the first key message in the presentation with both fields populated.
Both the ISI and PI documents must be Approved. If the CLM content is associated with either an ISI document or a PI document, but not both, users cannot share the content via a web link and an error displays.
The ISI and PI text is stamped on the sent_message__v record created when sharing a web link. Interactions with the ISI and PI document links are tracked as message_activity__v records. Both are associated with the sent_message__v record for the original CLM content web link.
Selecting the Appropriate Link Language
Customers may have ISI and PI links defined in multiple languages. To ensure the message generated for the web link uses the appropriate language, the language of the ISI and PI links is selected based on the following logic:
- If there is a message template selected, match the language of the message template
- If there is no match to a message template due to one of the following reasons, match the language of the clm_presentation__v record
- Message templates are not configured
- The user selects No Message
- If there is no match to the language of the clm_presentation__v record, match the end user's language
- If there is no match to the end user's language, the content cannot be sent
Tracking for ISI and PI Links Sent from Engage Chat as
