What's New in 23R3.4
Our release notes offer brief, high-level descriptions of enhancements and new features.
Not all functionality documented is available in Vault CRM as we work towards full parity with Veeva CRM.
Features
Account Management
Previewing an Account During Creation
To increase efficiency when creating accounts, users can preview all account information and enter field values, including optional fields, when creating an account using the Parent Account Wizard or the New Account Wizard.
Approved Email
Users on the iPad platform can send Approved Email content to accounts, and access Approved Email features through a dedicated experience.
The Email tab provides a centralized location where users can easily access Approved Email functionality. The Email tab is accessed from the Vault CRM menu and includes folders for Draft, Scheduled, and Sent emails.
Call Objectives
Users on the iPad platform can access Call Objectives, which are tasks that must be completed as part of a call to a specific account during a defined period of time. Call Objectives are used to create to-do lists for users and efficiently coordinate tasks across teams. Users can view Call Objectives from the Call Objectives tab or the call report. To take action on Call Objectives, record a call from the list of Call Objectives or add Call Objectives to an existing call report.
CLM
Viewing Slide Notes in Presentations
When preparing CLM content in the CLM media player, users can view notes for each key message to ensure they deliver specific, tailored content to HCPs. Slide notes for CLM content are automatically synced from Vault, allowing content creators to include all the necessary context for users when they display the content to HCPs.
Consent Capture
Managing Countries for Consent Headers
Business admins can create vcountry__v records to define countries for consent and can populate the country__v field on consent_header__v records with the appropriate vcountry__v record to specify the country of each consent header.
General
Signing into Vault CRM on iPad
When signing into Vault CRM, users complete the signin process in the embedded browser for secure authentication. Users can also enable authentication via Touch ID or Face ID. Additionally, admins can configure Vault CRM to keep users signed in for extended periods of time.
Sync
Supporting Attachments on iPad
Attachments for objects sync on iPad devices and display in related lists, allowing users to view and download attachments.
Territory Management
Creating Territory Assignment Rules
Since Vault CRM can contain large numbers of accounts, admins need a way to automatically assign accounts to the appropriate territories, and therefore to the appropriate users. Territory Assignment Rules enable admins to define criteria, for example by an account's postal or brick code, by which accounts matching that criteria are automatically assigned to a territory or its descendants, ensuring the account is assigned to the correct user.
