Using Call Reporting Entry Points as

The following call reporting entry points do not require module-specific configuration:
- Using the Account Details Screen — On the Account Detail page, users can select the Record a Call action to create a new call report. This entry point is available if the user is permitted to create calls for the account.
- My Accounts — On the My Accounts page, users can create a new call report by selecting the Record a Call action from an account tile
- My Schedule — Depending on the schedule view and feature configuration, users can schedule calls or create new calls in several ways — for example, single call creation, advanced filtering, and drag and drop.
If online users do not enter a specific duration when creating calls outside of My Schedule, the call duration defaults to 30 minutes when users save or submit a call. For calls created offline without a duration, the duration__v field remains blank. The call still displays as 30 minutes long in My Schedule.
- Sphere of Influence — From the Sphere of Influence, users can create a new call report against an account by selecting More Actions from the account tile, and then selecting Record a Call from the More Actions menu. iPad users can also create a new call report from the Record a Call action in the upper right of the screen.
The following call reporting entry points require module-specific configuration:
- Call Objectives — Users can create a call report from objectives that are not associated with an existing call report, or enter an existing call report from objectives that are already associated with a call report
- CLM — Users can create a call report from the More Actions action in a CLM presentation
- Engage — Engage meetings can be created from the call report, and ending an Engage meeting returns the user to the call report that their meeting originated from
- Events Management — End users can create call reports directly from their events, which automatically records important event details
- Medical Inquiries — A medical inquiry created from a call report has a lookup to the call it was created from. Users can access the call report from this lookup.
- Medical Events — Users can create a new call report from the list of medical events
- Suggestions — From a Suggestion to schedule a call, users can create a new call report for a future call
