Vault CRM Licensing Overview

Vault CRM requires a valid Vault CRM Core license to operate. Additional features can be accessed by purchasing add-on application licenses. For any licensing inquiries, or to obtain additional Vault CRM licenses, contact your Veeva Account Partner.

Licensed Vault CRM Applications

Veeva provides and manages licensing for the following Vault CRM applications:

When an add-on application is purchased, it is enabled in the customer's Vault and becomes available to all users immediately.

Add-on applications are enabled for the entire Vault, without needing individual user licenses.

Vault CRM License Types

Vault CRM uses a tiered, geography-based licensing model to manage user access:

Full User License - Each Vault has one Full User who is the primary administrator, as designated during the initial setup. This user has unrestricted access to Vault CRM.

Read-Only and External Licenses - These license types are not applicable to Vault CRM

Licenses are categorized based on geographical regions, with each user assigned to a license tier that corresponds to their primary work country. The geographical tiers are:

Tier 1 - United States, Canada, Japan, Western Europe, Australia, New Zealand

Tier 2 - Eastern Europe, Latin America, Korea, Singapore, Middle East, China

Tier 3 - South Asia, Africa, Association of Southeast Asian Nations

Vault Product Operations provisions Tier 1, 2, and 3 licenses according to customer orders. Add-on applications are enabled for the entire Vault and are not tied to specific user licenses. Customers cannot modify license type information but can view country-tier mappings in the tier_country_mapping__v object.

If a customer has multiple CRM Vaults, they can specify how many users should be allocated to each Vault at the time of purchase.
