Features
Account Management
Merging Duplicate Account Records
Users can merge duplicate account information while preserving the original information. Vault CRM’s account merge process extends the standard record merge to include records on CRM-specific core business objects in the merge. Merging duplicate records makes it easier for users to find the correct account.
Global Account Search is a tool to search for and add accounts currently outside a user’s territory, making it easier to interact with these accounts. Global Account Search also helps reduce the creation of unnecessary accounts, as users can first check if an account already exists outside of their territory before creating a new account.
Approved Email
Defining the Language of Approved Email Content
The various language settings in Vault CRM now reference a single standard Vault picklist, making it easier for users to select a language or define a custom language.
Call Planning
To add multiple calls to a call cycle at once, users can copy the current week to a call cycle from My Schedule Week View. Call cycles are sets of recurring calls which users save and apply to future weeks, to create all their upcoming calls for the week at once. Using call cycles streamlines call planning and scheduling for recurring calls.
Call Reporting
Highlights of Call Reporting in Vault CRM
For an overview of some of the call reporting functionality currently available on Vault CRM for iPad, see the video here.
To ensure users are only presented with compliant call channel options, the following call channels can be restricted so they are not available for selection on the call report:
- Chat or Text
- Other
Detailing Products with Product Favorites Enabled
Products which are selected as a Favorite (starred) in My Setup are immediately available to select in the detailing priority section on the call report. To add products not marked as favorites in My Setup, users can select Add Other in the detailing priority section to open the detail selector and search for additional products.
Consent Capture
iPad users can capture required HCP consent to receive communication through various channels and to store personal information. Customers need this consent to satisfy compliance regulations.
Capturing Consent Using Confirmation Emails for All Channels
To capture consent when users are unable to meet HCPs face-to-face, users can send confirmation emails to confirm opt-in consent for any channel, including custom channels. This allows HCPs to confirm consent they granted remotely.
Requiring Consent Capture for Channel Source Changes
By default, end users can edit channel sources directly from the Consent Capture screen to easily update an account’s information, for example, an email address. However, certain regulations require users to capture consent immediately after editing an HCP’s information.
Requiring Signatures on Opt-Out
By default, signatures are required when HCPs provide opt-in consent on mobile devices and paper consent IDs are required online. Customers can also require signatures and paper consent IDs for opt-out consent to ensure HCPs confirm every consent change.
Sending Consent Capture Receipts with Approved Email
Some countries have laws or regulations requiring end users to send receipts to HCPs for capturing consent. HCPs receive Consent Capture receipts via Approved Email after granting consent.
Using Consent Confirmation Emails
End users can send consent confirmation emails to HCPs when using double opt-in or when capturing consent using confirmation emails for any channel. Using consent confirmation emails allows users to capture consent for HCPs even when meeting remotely.
Certain countries have regulations requiring HCPs to verify their email addresses when giving consent to receive email communications. An HCP who grants opt-in consent receives an email with a link to verify the email address and confirm consent. The HCP must select the link to finish opting in.
Engage
To allow end users to remotely interact with HCPs and share content, they can schedule, start, and host Engage meetings on iPad.
Scheduling and Starting Microsoft Teams Meetings
Users can schedule and start Microsoft Teams meetings from Vault CRM, allowing users to accommodate HCPs who are already familiar with Microsoft Teams. Meetings are conducted in Microsoft Teams, using the host’s corporate Microsoft Teams account. The meeting is hosted by Microsoft Teams and the meeting experience is controlled by the user’s corporate Microsoft Teams configuration.
General
Supporting Parent-Child Relationships in Vault CRM
When editing page layouts, business admins can add fields referencing objects in parent-child relationships. Business admins must add fields referencing both the parent and child objects to the same layout, for example, adding an Address field requires adding an Account field.

Creating a Home Page Dashboard in Vault CRM
The Home tab in Vault CRM displays a home page dashboard containing actionable information to help users shape their daily activities. Business admins can define home page dashboards for end users to manage the data displayed every time users sign in to Vault CRM.
Medical
Medical Discussions allows users to gather key data and information for multiple discussion types on the same call report, including product information, plans, tactics, and event information.
Requiring Medical Discussions on the Call Report
To reduce potential compliance risks resulting from incomplete or inaccurate call reports, users can be required to create at least one Medical Discussion to submit a call report. Requiring Medical Discussions also helps provide a more complete picture of past HCP interactions for other Vault CRM users to use in call planning and future discussions with HCPs.
Mobile Device Setup
Vault CRM Mobile Application Home Page
The home page of the Vault CRM mobile application provides a snapshot of actionable information that helps users shape their daily activities. It consists of a series of tiles that can be added and positioned on the page.
