Announcements
Migrating to the New Vault CRM App
In 24R2.0, we moved to a new Vault CRM iPad application to support significant updates to Vault CRM. The previous version, now called Vault CRM Legacy, will no longer be supported starting in 25R1.0. At that time, Vault CRM Legacy will stop functioning and syncing.
To continue receiving updates and full functionality, migrate to the new Vault CRM app available in the App Store. Before installing the new app, ensure any pending data changes in Vault CRM Legacy are fully synced. Once your data is up to date, you can safely delete Vault CRM Legacy from your iPad and start using the new Vault CRM app.
Features
Approved Email
Consolidated Photo for Digital Business Cards and Approved Email Profiles
To make profile management easier for users, Approved Email user profiles and Engage Digital Business Cards use the same user photo.
Call Planning
Creating Custom My Schedule Filters
To focus on the most relevant accounts and improve efficiency when planning calls, users can apply custom filters to refine their account list in My Schedule.
Bookmarking Filters in My Schedule
For increased efficiency in filtering accounts and scheduling calls, users can save commonly used sets of filters as bookmarks. When users select a bookmark, the associated filters are automatically applied to the account list in My Schedule.
Call Reporting
Capturing GPS Coordinates on the Call Report
Capturing GPS location coordinates at key points in the call—for example, check in, signature capture, and call report submission—helps maintain compliance with regulations and ensure the call was completed as described on the call report.
Creating Follow-up Activities on the Call Report on Browser
Creating follow-up activities on the call report enables Browser users to ensure post-call actions are tracked, managed, and completed in a timely manner. This streamlined approach not only improves productivity but also strengthens customer relationships by ensuring prompt follow-up on inquiries and requests.
Mass Entering Key Messages for Unique Activities Group Calls on Browser
To efficiently capture key messages delivered to multiple attendees on a unique activities group call, Browser users can use the Record Details button to capture key messages for multiple attendees. Mass entering key messages through the Record Details button saves users time and streamlines call reporting.
Tracking CLM Key Messages on Browser
Tracking CLM Key Messages enables organizations and end users to identify impactful content and improve outreach to HCPs. When a key message is viewed through CLM, a CLM Key Message record is generated to capture details about the displayed content. If a product detail is associated, a Call Detail record is also created. This information displays in the CLM Details section of the call report, offering a clear overview of the CLM content presented, including key messages, reactions, share channels, and any applicable products.
Supporting Required and Read-Only Fields for Call Report Layouts on Browser
For call reports on the Browser platform, admin users can designate additional fields as required or read-only at the layout level. This functionality enables admins to designate fields on a call report as required (the field must be populated to save the record) or read-only (the field is not editable on the call report).
Call Sampling
Stamping the Signature Location on the Call Report
When users capture an electronic signature, the device’s GPS location can be stamped on the call report along with the current status of Location Services. GPS location stamping provides a precise way to record where a signature was captured, which helps to confirm that the user actually captured a signature and completed the call as described on the call report.
Capturing Unique Information on Group Call Attendees on Browser
The following features are now available for promotional items, reprints, and custom items on unique activities group calls on the Browser platform:
Display Order for Selecting Products on Browser
On the Browser platform, product display order enables admins to organize products for easy selection on the call report. Products are sorted by display order, based on the display_order__v field on the product__v record.
CLM
Updating Auto-Published Content
When content creators auto-publish updated versions of CLM documents from PromoMats/MedComms to CRM, they can control whether the CLM integration updates the key message records in Vault CRM or expires the records and creates new records, depending on the types of changes made to the presentation.
Engage
CRM Users Attending an Engage Meeting on Browser (Available March 20, 2025)
Engage hosts can invite CRM user attendees to Engage meetings on Browser. When CRM users, for example, managers, MSLs, or users on shared accounts, are unable to meet face to face, they can still collaborate via Engage meetings with HCPs.
Presenting CLM Content Remotely on Windows
Presenting CLM content remotely on Windows allows HCPs to view CLM content on their own devices during calls without being in a remote meeting. Details about the session, including the link, are shared with the HCPs using social messaging apps, verbally, or with a QR code. Selecting the link allows the HCP to view the CLM content in their browser without installing an app.
Using Engage Meetings in Multi-Vault Domains
An end user in a multi-Vault domain can be assigned to an Engage Group in one or more of the Vault instances in the domain. This enables end users to schedule and host Engage meetings from different Vault instances with access to different data and content. Users must have an active Engage license for every Vault and Engage group they are assigned to.
Events Management
Filtering Attendee Results Outside of the User's Territory
Business admin users can configure filters when adding attendees to an event or reconciling walk-in attendees that limit the out-of-territory search results displayed to end users. Filtering accounts prevents irrelevant accounts from displaying while maintaining compliance requirements regarding HCP data restrictions across borders.
Searching for Event Attendees and Speakers by Furigana
End users can search for attendees and speakers by their furigana, enabling them to quickly identify the correct attendees and speakers to add to an event.
End users can record their virtual events via the Record to the Cloud button. Recordings of virtual events are stored in connected Vault PromoMats instances and can be referenced for future training, marketing, or auditing purposes.
Creating New Accounts from Walk-in Attendees on Browser
If an existing account is not found during reconciliation, Browser users can create a new account__v record directly within Events Management to reconcile the walk-in attendee. Information from the walk-in attendee is used to automatically populate fields in the new account__v record to streamline the creation process.
Joining a Virtual Event via Zoom on Browser
Attendees of a virtual event have the option of joining via their Zoom application rather than Veeva’s Engage client. Providing attendees this option helps maintain the compliant hosting capabilities of a virtual event.
Displaying Event Lifecycle Stages on Browser
Events Management administrators can map event statuses to standardized lifecycle stages that display when viewing an event on the Browser platform. This allows event team members to visualize the current event stage within the lifecycle of the event workflow.
Expense Estimate Creation Rules on the iPad
Estimating event expenses during the planning phase is essential for keeping costs within the allocated budget. Event business admin users can create Expense Estimate Creation rules that automate creating expense estimate records on the iPad, streamlining the planning process and reducing user errors when estimating expenses.
Inventory Monitoring
The following feature is now available on the Browser and iPad platforms:

Adding a Custom Delivery Method
In addition to the primary and optional delivery methods for medical inquiries, customers can add custom delivery methods.
Order Management
The following features are now available on the Browser platform:
Service Center
Using the Timeline Activity View
The Timeline Activity view provides Service Center Representatives with a full, chronological view of all their activities related to a target, starting with their first attempt to contact an HCP. Service Center Representatives do not need to create a call report for unsuccessful calls, saving them time and effort which can instead be applied to reaching more targets.
Territory Management
Removing Accounts from Territories
End users can quickly remove accounts from their territory via a dedicated button on account detail pages. This button prompts the user to create a DCR that removes the account from their territory, which can include a reason for removal.
User Visible and Behavior Changes (UVCs)
Most new functionality requires some configuration, however users are able to use the following functionality immediately. Select the thumbnail to view a larger image.
